Yulia Tolstikov-Mast, Global Leadership and Research Technical Expert
Yulia Tolstikov-Mast, Ph.D. is a global leadership expert, an award-winning international scholar, and educator. Yulia specializes in the internalization of education, international faculty training, curriculum development and assessment, and global citizenship behavior. She published in Advances in Global Leadership, Journal of Leadership Education, and Culture 2.0, Women Courageous, The Study and Practice of Global Leadership, and Handbook of Global Leadership and Followership. Her most significant contribution is the Handbook of International and Cross-Cultural Leadership Research Processes. The publication is a guide on conducting leadership and followership research grounded in local epistemologies. Yulia is a versatile professional invited to design and review leadership curricula and training programs globally. She is trained by the Carnegie Foundation Elective Classification to evaluate universities holistically and systematically, including university-wide approaches to curriculum and education. Yulia is a Fulbright Specialist and was a team member on one of the UniVIP 2023 projects. She is a proponent of collective and shared leadership, an empathetic communicator, and a reflective thinker adept at multinational collaborations.
